Disconnect Switches

Disconnect switches are valuable safety features which rapidly disconnect from power supplies in case of an emergency. Available in different sizes, these are round or block-shaped devices, which can be installed easily inside the office or facility and can automatically shut off power supplies. They can work with circuit breakers to stop the flow of current when there is overload. Such switches are seen in generators or electrical motors.
Disconnect switches can function in conjunction with circuit breakers which interrupt the flow of electricity along a circuit when the current exceeds the circuit's capacity.

Both these regulating bodies work in close association to provide quality standards for electrical products manufacturers.
