Our Telephone & Switchboard Cables are designed for elimination of
cross talk and enhance voice clarity. They are most suitable for indoor use
in large offices, residential buildings, hotels and industrial complex for
better interconnection of telephone and intercom system. They are also
suitable for PBX and in-central exchange for interconnection of distribution
framer switching and transmission equipments.
High density polyethylene is used for insulating the solid annealed high
conductivity bare copper of 0.5 mm diameter. To minimize the cross talk, the
insulated cores are twisted and are bunched together to form pairs. The laid
up cables are covered with polyester and further jacketed with a fire
retardant PVC (grey colour) with high oxygen index. A nylon rip cord is used
to provide an effective means of slitting the jacket without harming the
insulated cores. The cables generally conform to ITD specifications S/WS 113
C and Kundan specifications.
