Kundan cab manufactures Xtra Gaurd - FRLS multistrand cables, which has special flame retardant, low smoke emitting and toxic fumes suppressing features. They have additional properties as required by IS 694: 1990.

The convectional PVC insulated wires, in case of fire, produce thick black smoke and toxic fumes of hydrochloric acid gas. The visibility is almost impaired and the rescue operations are hampered. On the contrary, Xtra Gaurd cables emits very little smoke and toxic gases, and also retards the spreading of fire. Thus it is perfect for concealed and conduit wiring in multi-storied high rise buildings such as hotels, banks, hospitals, factories, commercial complexes and residential apartments etc.
